Wellness & vaccines
Puppy and kitten series, DHPP, FVRCP, rabies and Bordetella, annual exams, body-condition scoring and honest nutrition advice.
New practice · Westchase, Tampa
Beyond Love Veterinary Hospital opens November 1 on Whitmarsh Lane. Longer appointments, diagnostics read in our own lab, and the same faces every visit — 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, every day of the week.
Services
General practice for dogs and cats, from the first kitten vaccine to the last quiet afternoon. What we can't do here, we'll say so plainly and get you to the specialist who can.
Puppy and kitten series, DHPP, FVRCP, rabies and Bordetella, annual exams, body-condition scoring and honest nutrition advice.
Vomiting, limping, ear infections, itchy skin, urinary trouble. We hold appointment slots open every single day for the things that can't wait.
Bloodwork, urinalysis and cytology run on site, plus digital radiography and ultrasound. Most results are back before you leave the room.
Spay and neuter, mass removals, laceration repair and soft-tissue procedures. A dedicated nurse monitors anesthesia from induction to recovery.
Full-mouth dental radiographs, scaling, polishing and extractions — always under general anesthesia, because that is the only way it is done properly.
Arthritis, kidney disease, diabetes and thyroid management, with recheck schedules built around your week rather than ours.
Year-round heartworm, flea and tick protection with annual testing. In Hillsborough County this is not seasonal, and we will explain exactly why.
Quality-of-life consultations and gentle in-hospital euthanasia, in a quiet room, with as much time as you need and no one waiting on you.
Every life stage
A pet ages roughly seven times faster than you do, so a year between visits is closer to a decade. Here is the schedule we will keep you on.
The vaccine series, deworming, the spay or neuter conversation, and getting them comfortable with being handled before it ever matters.
Every 3–4 weeks until 16 weeks old
A full physical, weight and dental check, heartworm testing and boosters. This is the visit that catches things while they are still cheap to fix.
Once a year, plus monthly prevention
Bloodwork and blood pressure twice a year. Kidney disease, thyroid disease and arthritis all announce themselves quietly, and early is everything.
Every 6 months, with senior labs
Pain management, appetite support and an honest quality-of-life conversation — then, when you are ready, a calm goodbye with no clock running.
As often as you need us
Your first visit
New-patient appointments are booked at thirty minutes so there is room for the questions you actually came in with.
Request a time below or call us. Send records from your previous clinic and we will have read them before you walk in.
Check in at the front desk, or text us from the parking lot and wait in the car with your pet. Whichever is calmer for them.
Thirty minutes with the doctor. Nose-to-tail exam on the floor or your lap where possible, and treats throughout.
An itemized estimate before anything is done, a written plan to take home, and a direct line for the question you think of at 9 pm.
Pets don't get sick on a schedule. That's why we open all seven days.[DR. NAME, DVM] · Founder, Beyond Love
Practicing in Tampa Bay
Gulf-coast Florida gives pets a specific set of problems. Here is what we will talk to you about at your first visit.
Twelve months a year
Hillsborough County mosquitoes stay active through the whole calendar, which is why Florida sits near the top of every national heartworm map. Year-round prevention is not an upsell here — it is the standard of care, and a lapsed month is a real risk.
May through September
Bulldogs, Frenchies, pugs and Persians cannot cool themselves efficiently in a Tampa August, and asphalt at 3 pm will blister a paw pad. Walk before 8 am or after sunset, and learn the early signs of heat stress before you need them.
After summer rain
Bufo toads turn up across Westchase lawns on warm wet nights and are toxic the moment a dog mouths one. Wipe the gums forward with a wet cloth for ten minutes — front to back, never rinsing water down the throat — and call us while you are on the way.
June through November
Two weeks of every medication, a printed vaccine record, a carrier that fits in your car, and a microchip registration with a phone number that still works. Ask at the desk any day and we will print your file while you wait.
